Raúl Alsina is an artist with years of professional experience. He has worked as a 

graphic designer for the St. Petersburg Times, Tampa Bay Rays, Home Shopping Network, and Dillard’s. 

Raúl is also a painter and creates murals. He is known for his Mainsail Art Festival 

flamingo series, which have won numerous awards. One of his paintings was commissioned by 

the U.S. ambassador to Spain to commemorate the 1992 Olympics and World Expo. 

The painting was on display in Madrid, and 5,000 posters were distributed from the original.
